Tiger Fishing - Caprivi Strip

In stark contrast to Namibia's arid landscapes, the Caprivi Strip (Zambezi Region) is a lush, water-rich wilderness shaped by four major rivers - the Zambezi, Chobe, Kwando, and Okavango. This region offers a completely different side of Namibia, defined by floodplains, riverine forests, and abundant birdlife.

Caprivi is renowned for its tiger fishing, targeting one of Africa's most aggressive and exciting freshwater game fish. Known for explosive strikes, aerial fights, and razor-sharp teeth, tiger fish test both skill and nerve.

Fishing is done from boats or along the riverbanks, guided by experienced local anglers who understand the rivers, seasons, and conditions.
